Job Description

Software Security Company in the Houston area is searching for a Senior .Net Software Developer to join their development team.  The Software Developer will work side-by-side with an experienced development team on a SaaS platform; help build a scalable web-based applications that can handle thousands of simultaneous users; and work on an application that is meaningful.

Positions: There are two positions opened.

Work Site:

This is a fulltime 100% remote opportunity.  Open to candidates located in Texas, Florida and Georgia.

About:

The Software Developer will join the team and work on one of their flagship products.  They will work on new development as well as enhancements.  They want to groom this Software Developer to be a Team Lead.

 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in a degree in computer science or professional equivalent 

Technical Skills:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in .NET software development 
  • Proficient in Visual Studio, .NET (C#), MVC, Web API, and MS SQL 
  • Proficient in HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, and CSS 
  • Proven experience implementing distributed software solutions 
  • Knowledge of industry standards, frameworks, and design patterns 
  • Experience with server-side technologies - .NET (C#), MS SQL Server, REST 
  • Experience following best practices for code quality – unit testing and code reviews 
  • Ability to adhere to existing process guidelines and develop software components according to existing conventions and patterns 
  • Proven experience with distributed software solutions.
  • Experience with Agile process and Scrum ceremonies is must 
  • Prior experience working in a SaaS environment – is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on development - involved in development tasks, debugging, unit testing, and defect fixes 
  • Work with product owners, tech-lead, and other team members to define and clarify functional requirements, non-functional requirements, and scope 
  • Work with other members if the development team to design proper solutions in accordance with the functional requirements and long-term strategy

Compensation: 

Salary range for this position is $135-145K with bonus potential of $12-15K.  Bonus will be based on employee and employer performance.
