Job Description
Global company in the Houston, Texas Downtown area is searching for several C++ Backend Software Developers to share their expertise to extend and transform the company’s flagship global derivatives trading system for the Commodities and Global Market Group within the company.

This is a great opportunity for a C++ Backend Software Developer with strong technical and communication skills to deliver in a global and dynamic environment.
About the Project:
Some of our projects include substantial engineering to move the architecture to cloud native infrastructure, incorporate new ideas on DevOps and CI/CD processes into builds, and being involve on projects focused on core business delivery – such as building out a new generation of regulatory risk computation processes, executed on large-scale distributed compute architectures.

Job Requirements
Required Technical Expertise:
- Expertise in building and maintaining applications using C++ in the Linux environment
- Good exposure to the Java/JVM and Python ecosystem
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD environment
- Strong (if not outstanding) analytical abilities and problem solving skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, computer science or equivalent
This position is ideal for someone who brings an interest in mathematics, financial products and risk. This company offers great opportunities for individuals with strong domain experience in investment banking risk.

Work Right:
- Candidate must have the proof of the right to work in the USA.
