Job Description
Global Company is offering an exciting opportunity for a .NET Windows Desktop Developer to join a front-office team to build trade-entry applications that support the global commodities business. This is a client-facing and highly visible role supporting commodities traders in both Houston and the company’s global locations.

The .Net Windows Desktop Developer will work alongside stakeholders and the engineering team to develop technical solutions to streamline trading workflows. The .Net Windows Desktop Developer will be engaged in all phases of software development, including design, implementation, testing, release and application support. Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Technical Expertise:
- 3+ years’ experience in C# .NET Windows development
- 3+ years’ experience in UI development
- Familiarity with SQL/RDBMS
- A strong customer focus and a willingness to own the end-to-end delivery of business value
- Ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- A self-motivated, inquisitive and methodical style of problem-solving
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks to support the traders and other business users
- Good understanding of data structures, design patterns and algorithms
- Agile methodology and practices
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
Expertise a plus:
- Commodities trading systems
- Windows Forms/DevExpress
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Aurora)
