Job Description

ProFound Staffing is working with a Software Company in the Greenspoint area of Houston, Texas that's searching for a Mid-Level .Net Full Stack Web Developer with JavaScript Framework – Single Page Application (SPA) experience. 

Prefer candidate that can deliver features in both front-end, user facing applications and back-end systems.  Candidate will be involved in completing product life cycle from inception to deployment; enhancing existing application; and responsible for designing and developing new applications from ground-up.  The technology stack for this position will be  single-page, Typescript application that utilizes a .Net, C#-based backend along with SQL Server for persistence.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 years of professional web development experience
  • Full Stack development
  • JavaScript-based SPA experience preferably in Angular2+ or Aurelia Frameworks - required
  • C# .Net Framework, Typescript and JavaScript - required

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

 

Technical Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software design and development, specifically with Microsoft .NET Framework and JavaScript-based SPA frameworks.
  • Languages: Proficiency in C#, TypeScript, and JavaScript is mandatory.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, design patterns, and multi-tier architecture. Experience in a variety of project types, including web services and database design.
  • Frameworks and Libraries: Experience with .NET Web API, ASP.NET, and modern front-end SPA frameworks like Angular or Aurelia is required.
  • Web Technologies: Deep understanding of web standards and technologies, such as HTTP, REST, and JSON.
  • Database: Experience with MS SQL Server and Entity Framework Core is required.
  • Design Principles: A strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture, with the ability to conceptualize and implement complex systems in a user-friendly manner, is highly desirable.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with GIT is essential.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience in Agile development, including task estimation and backlog refinement.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Feature Development: Design and implement software components in alignment with Agile sprint goals.
  • Full Lifecycle Participation: Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Performance & Scalability: Ensure that developed features are optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Code Quality: Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and mentorship across various projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Work Environment:

The work environment is business casual.  There is approximately 20+ people on the team to include software development, sales and administration.

 

Hybrid Work Schedule:

  • This is a hybrid work schedule.
  • Candidate will work from home on Monday and Friday.
  • Candidate will work in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
