Financial Services Company in Spring - The Woodlands – Houston area is searching for Senior Software Developer with full stack development skills in .Net technologies.   Candidate must have development knowledge in microservices, stored procedures, and Web APIs using C# and .Net technologies.  Must also have experience in deploying products in DevOps using a CI/CD (Continuous integration and continuous delivery) pipeline on-premise, or to the Cloud.

Technical Skills:

Utilize and demonstrate familiarity with:

  • .NET Core
  • Visual C#
  • Net
  • Web Services & RESTful Services
  • Angular
  • React
  • Postman
  • HTML5+, JavaScript & JSON
  • jQuery
  • Docker & Kubernetes

 

DevOps Experience:

Utilize and demonstrate familiarity with:

  • Azure
  • PaaS & IaaS
  • Entity Framework
  • Visual Studio & VSTS

 

SCRUM experience:

  • Experience using an Agile – Scrum based development approach.
  • Pair-programming or Mob programming
  • TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
  • Use of Agile processes such as scrum, product backlog, definition of done, etc.
  • Able to give and receive feedback and coaching

Other Professional Experience:

  • Experience in a broad range of project types including web services development, custom application development, database design and component based implementation

 

Soft Skills:

  • Client-facing experience, must have strong communication both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and produce results
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt
  • Must have a strong aptitude, attitude and work ethic.
  • Quick learner.

  • Flexible to change direction when needed.
  • Must be able to follow directions.

 

  • Candidate must have the proof of the right to work in the United States
  • Unable to provide H1-B Visa Sponsorship
  • Unable to work with third-party vendors or Consultants on a C2C basis
  • Unable to provide relocation assistance
  • Houston candidates preferred

 

Work Environment:

The work environment is business casual.  There are approximately 5 people on the development team.

 

Compensation:

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position on a W2 only.
